Introduction

In 1988, Kaveri Women’s Hostel is founded which was inaugurated by none other than the, Governor of Karnataka, Shri. P.Venkata Subbiah. This Hostel was built primarily for girls, who come from different parts of the world. The hostel built in 14,400 sq.ft.site area and has Four floors, consisting totally of 102 rooms. Out of those 102 Rooms, 46 are Single & 56 are Double Rooms. All these rooms have attached bathrooms. Exam going P.G students enjoy the single room facility. Recently rooms in 4th floor have been well furnished with air conditioning etc and is reserved for NRI students.
Since it is centrally located within the campus of Medical College & Hospital. The Central Library, is a stone’s throw away from the Hostel. Hence it is helpful for the students to study for long hours in the library & return safely to the Hostel. The dedicated faculty & staff members take keen interest to maintain discipline and peace. All this help the boarders to study well & score high marks & thus fulfill their ambition.

VISION
“A HOME AWAY FROM HOME’’
As this adage says we indeed have a homely atmosphere in the hostel and hence the wards do not feel nostalic or home sickness. Though it is true nothing is equal to food prepared by the mother, the food supplied in the hostel is equivalent to that with all cleanliness with high nutrition value and taste.
